No,no~
“上头”=up head?
NO!
Dota——
be strongly obsessed with sb./sth.
be crazy about sb./sth.
be fascinated by someone
He was obsessed with the American films.
1. On the spur of the moment
On the spur of the moment, he asked her to marry him.
2. go to one's head
Champagne always goes straight to my head.
The excitement went to his head.
3. have a crush on someone
I have a crush on you in junior high school.
4. be smitten by
From the moment they met,he was completely smitten by her.
5. head over heels in love
Sammy is so head over heels with Emily. He mentions her every five minutes.
6. be swept off someone's feet
I am completely swept off my feet by his glamour.
7. fall for
爱上
“爱上某个人”除了最常见的说法fall in love with someone之外,还可以说fall for someone,同样可以表示迷恋上某个人。
例:
He falls for his best friend.
fall for
take a fancy to
take to / be addicted to
fall in love with
be turned on by
have a crush on
be fond of
be into
be head over heel in love
大家会不会觉得go to (one's )head也可以表达”上头“呢?
其实,go to (one's )head=make one dizzy or drunk (头晕,酒醉)
例:
Wine always goes to her head.
make one proud or vain or arrogant or conceited
If something goes to someone's head, it makes that person think that they are very important and makes them a less pleasant person.
例:
Don't let fame/success go to your head.
go to one's head
例:
Champagne always goes straight to my head.
Don't let success go to your head.
It's nice to hear that the news hasn't gone to his head.
