So today I want to talk about

Some foods from other countries

一些来自其他国家的食物

You can learn these if you ever travel outside of china

如果你出国旅行，你可以学这些

Or if you have foreign friends visiting

或者如果你有外国朋友来访

That want to eat some of their own foods

想吃自己家乡的食物

Because they're homesick

因为他们想家

You can take them to some foreign restaurants

你可以带他们去外国餐馆

And help them order

帮他们点菜

So the first countries food we can talk about is Japan

Now I'll only give a couple of examples

Because I don't know too much about their local food

But I know a couple

So our first one is sushi

Which I'm sure a lot of you have eaten before

I know I love to eat sushi

But it's just raw fish and some vegetables

Rolled up with rice and seaweed

Another type of it is called sashimi

Now with sashimi

It's the same thing as sushi, basically

Except it doesn't have rice

It's just the raw fish

Now with sushi and sashimi

You always eat them with wasabi

Wasabi is that really, really spicy green paste

It just burns so much when you eat it

But I love it, because it completely clears out your nose

And you can breathe so easily after it

And of course you can try their soups

One special soup they have is called miso soup

Miso I believe is their word for tofu

I'm pretty sure, but anyways

Miso soup that one's pretty good

But, also their ramen

Japanese ramen is really, really good

I love their ramen

Now from Japan, we can move onto Korea

With Korea, the only ones that I really know are kimchi

Which is just basically just their paocai

But it's really good, too

I actually really love to eat kimchi

And korean barbecue

Which is famous in a lot of different countries

I know when I go traveling, it doesn't matter where I go

There's always a Korean barbecue place

And I always end up eating there

And I always end up filling myself up on just kimchi

So now onto Mexico

Mexican food is some of my absolute favorite food

Especially in America, it's really easy to find Mexican food everywhere

Probably the most notable Mexican food is tacos

And tacos are amazing

You have a hard shell

You got meat inside

Your cheese, sour cream, salsa, lettuce

It's amazing

Or their nachos

Which is just tortilla chips

That you can put anything you want on

Again, the same cheese, sour cream, salsa, meat

Or burritos

Burritos are really good too

With the burrito, it's just one giant tortilla

Again with the same things from tacos or nachos

But it 's a lot more inside

Especially when you get ones that big

Or their quesadillas

Which, again, two tortillas like this

All the stuff inside and you cook it like that

Cut it up into little triangles (why did I say squares?)

That one is a really good one to share with friends

Especially like an appetizer at a restaurant

Now we move to the country who's food is my absolute favorite

Now if you've never had Italian food

Then I suggest you go eat it

I know Chinese food, Chinese food I really enjoy

But Italian food, I really love

Now of course, everybody knows pizza

But, I don't know

With pizza, I feel like that's just not really true Italian

For true Italian food, you gotta eat the spaghetti

Spaghetti, you can put anything on, amazing

Or their chicken parmesan

Chicken parmesan, you just get one chicken cutlet

Fry it

You put tomato sauce on it

Parmesan cheese

You serve that one top of spaghetti

Or some other kind of pasta

And it's amazing

Or, one last type

Lasagna

Lasagna is my all time favorite food

With lasagna, you serve it in a casserole dish

You lay out the long, thin, flat noodles

They're usually like that thin

But they're that wide

So you lay those out

You put meat ,noodles, cheese or ricotta cheese

Absolutely delicious

I mean, lately I've been really missing

My mother makes really, really good lasagna

And one last famous food from Italy

Is sausage and peppers

That's pretty standard

Put the together

So now we move onto India

Indian food is also one of my favorites

It seems like I have an awful lot of favorites

But with Indian food

As much as I love it

Sometimes it doesn't agree with me

And the next day I'm usually sitting on the toilet

For a couple of hours

I won't get in to too much detail

With Indian food, you have butter chicken

Which is probably my favorite Indian food

Every time my wife and I go out to get Indian food

We always end up getting butter chicken

Or tikka masala

Tikka masala is also really, really good

The reason why I love Indian food is

Because of the sauces that they use

The sauces that they cook everything in

And then you get some naan

Which is their big, flat bread

That you can just dip everything on,

You put stuff onto it

And then eat it

And then, you can drink you lassi

Lassi is just kind of like a milkshake

But they use yogurt

Really good

So one last country

We can talk about England

So with English food

Kind of similar to American food, but pretty different

One thing, the most famous thing,

Is their fish and chips

Which is just a deep fried fish filet served with French fries

Very standard

Anywhere you go in England

They're going to have fish and chips

Another one, bangers and mash

I just love saying bangers and mash

I have a friend from England

Every time he says "I'm hungry"

I say "you're gonna go get some bangers and mash?"

The guy hates me

Anyways

Bangers and mash is just sausages served with

Mashed potatoes and gravy

And, if for some of those that are feeling adventurous,

They also make their own blood sausage

Which is just sausage

But the inside is not meat, it's all just blood

I don't really care for that
